Hey guys!

Rancho Margot in Costa Rica offers private cabins with porches for guests

Long time no post – and for good reason! I’ve been swamped with professional freelance writing work recently (which is great) so I haven’t had as much time to work on my personal blog.

However, I recently returned from a trip to Costa Rica sponsored by Visit Costa Rica, and I decided to try out my video and editing skills and put together a brief clip. Eventually, I’d like to make a video about every place I go, along the lines of “Two (or three) minutes about destination.”   So here’s the first one, on Costa Rica. It’s my first so I know future videos will be exponentially better!

Video below, and keep scrolling for info on hotels and locations.  There was a lot of fun stuff I either couldn’t or didn’t film, like hot springs, yoga, sound healing and a cacao ceremony….so in short, there is a lot more to Costa Rica than I could fit into this quick little vid.

We were in La Fortuna, in the central part of Costa Rica, and Playa Samara, on the Pacific coast.  Despite the fact that we went in the rainy season we didn’t get rained on much, like, at all – and everything was exceptionally green and lush, which was beautiful.
