Update, Photos and My Dog.

Hi guys!

Unfortunately, I’ve been pretty sick for the last week or so, which means not much in the way of fun adventures to talk about. So, in lieu of something current to post about (no hiking for three weeks is driving me crazy!) I figured I’d share a few of my favorite pics I’ve taken recently.

Lake Tahoe’s Speedboat Beach, right on the north shore CA/NV state line, Unfortunately, there’s no parking, so you either have to take your chances by parking illegally on the shoulder, or park a ways up the road at Crystal Bay Club and walk down. This is technically a “no-dogs” beach, but every time I’ve been there it’s been full of dogs running around and jumping in the water. Definitely more of a “local’s” beach than a tourist one.

Doolie is the perfect model.

He really likes Speedboat Beach, too.

I just like his goofy face in the one below.

Meanwhile, in Truckee….

Yeah yeah, I know black and white filters are kind of a cop-out. But this old building and grove of trees seem like they were made for a little B&W action, you know?

I tried to get some cute pictures with Doolie but he was too focused on licking my eyeballs, obviously.
